World Languages Teacher (French - Secondary)The Freeport Public School District World Languages Department is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a teacher of the French language. As a key member of our educational community, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students while fostering a positive and culturally responsive learning environment. Responsibilities:      -   Develop and implement lesson plans that align with revised NY World Language Standards   -   Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and cultural awareness-   Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices-   Utilize high leverage instructional strategies to support language acquisition and proficiency in FrenchCandidates must posses:                        ¨         Appropriate NYS certification - French 7-12                        ¨         Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal                                    relations with students, parents, and staff                        ¨         Understanding of meeting the needs of multicultural students  AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
