Working as a substitute TA allows you to showcase your skills, build relationships with building principals, and puts you in a prime position to transition into a permanent, contracted role with benefits for the upcoming school year. Position Overview & Responsibilities Teacher Assistants work directly under the guidance of classroom and special education teachers to support student learning. Duties include: Providing support to individual students or small groups. Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson implementation, materials, and classroom management. Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those in Special Education programs. Fostering a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required.
