Actively engage students in rigorous learning aligned with best practices in world language education and comprehensible input strategies. Provide instruction that reflects and supports the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic needs of students and honors the diverse dialectal and cultural nuances of the various Hispanic cultures and phonologies. Prepare students for the NYS Seal of Biliteracy. Help students develop the intercultural competencies needed to be successful in a globally interdependent world. Establish and maintain a supportive classroom environment that provides for the social-emotional learning of all students. Effectively communicate with students and families. Proactively engage in continuous professional learning and growth. Positively contribute to the school community via collaboration and service opportunities.
