Jr./Sr. High School English Teacher This is a 10-month, probationary position with a start date of 9/1/25.Required Qualifications:Candidate must possess a NYS English Language Arts Teacher Certification.Application Deadline: 3/1/25.Start Date: 9/1/25Salary:Per current FPTA contract; level of education and experience will be considered.This position reports to the Building Principal. The Jr./Sr. High School English Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction to students in grades 7-12. .The ideal candidate will:Have a strong understanding of best practices for teaching, learning and assessmentUse developmentally appropriate strategies to promote student engagement with the contentCreate a positive learning environmentPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsBuild positive relationships with colleaguesPromote family engagement whenever possible
