The Floral Park-Bellerose School District, a Pre-k through 6th Grade District in western Nassau County, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Discovery Lab Teacher to inspire young learners through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. The ideal candidate is passionate about science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) and enjoys creating engaging experiences that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Responsibilities: Plan and facilitate interactive Discovery Lab lessons for elementary students. Foster a safe, engaging, and innovative learning environment. Collaborate with classroom teachers to support curriculum goals. Maintain Discovery Lab materials, equipment, and supplies. Qualifications: NYS Grades 1-6 Certification Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for experiential, project-based learning.
