The Floral Park-Bellerose School District has an opening for a long-term substitute social worker. We are a PreK - Grade 6 elementary school district in western Nassau County. NYS Social Worker License LCSW or LMSW is required. Responsibilities will include:-Providing consultation to staff and families regarding the social emotional needs of students-Referrals to outside agencies-Knowledge of McKinney Vento and Foster care -Crisis Intervention-Providing support and at times coordinate services for at-risk students and families.-Groups for social skills, lunch bunch and Banana Splits Start date April 1, 2024 for approximately 10 weeks.Please apply via OLAS only.
