The Floral Park-Bellerose SD is hiring a .5 Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will be working in our integrated co-teaching classes in both of our elementary schools. Qualifications and Selection CriteriaNYS Certification in Special Education (Birth through Grade 6) General Responsibilities:Provide instruction for students in an integrated co-teaching programWork positively with staff and communicate effectively with parents/administrationImplement IEP goals and objectivesParticipate in CSE meetingsHave an expertise in readingHave experience in a variety of SE settings (small class and resource room)Have worked with students with a variety of disabilities.
