The Floral Park-Bellerose School District, a Pre-K through sixth grade district in Western Nassau County, is looking for a Gifted and Talented Certified Teacher. Selection Criteria: A passion for working with high-achieving and intellectually talented students Interest in working with students in grades 4-6 in a pull-out program Knowledgeable with the design and implementation of project-based learning Ability to meet the needs of students with a wide range of abilities and interests Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration General Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate and communicate with building administration and 4 th through 6 th grade teachers on student pullout schedules Communicate and update parents on participating students’ academic progress Work on enhancing the curriculum with project-based learning projects Work Schedule: Full day split between buildings Application: Please apply via OLAS only by Friday March 27, 2026
