Florida Union Free School District Anticipated Technology Teacher S.S. Seward Institute, Florida, NY Overview S.S. Seward Institute is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Technology Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging technology curricula that prepare students with essential skills for college and career readiness in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This is an anticipated full-time position for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities Develop and implement hands-on, project-based curriculum in various technology fields, which may include coding, robotics, digital design, engineering principles, drawing and production. Instruct students in the safe and appropriate use of tools, machinery, and technology lab equipment. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate technology across disciplines. Stay current with emerging technologies and educational best practices in the technology education field. Required Qualifications New York State Certification as a Technology Education Teacher (or eligibility for certification). Demonstrated knowledge of modern technology and engineering principles relevant to secondary education. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
