The Florida Union Free School District seeks candidates for a probationary teaching position in Physical Education/Health at S.S. Seward Institute, serving students in grades 6-12. The position is available on or about September 1, 2025.We are looking for a passionate, student-centered educator who is committed to promoting lifelong fitness, wellness, and healthy decision-making. The ideal candidate will:Enjoy working with middle and high school students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons that promote physical fitness, health education, and overall well-being.Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to motivate students and encourage active participation in physical activities and health discussions.Support students in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed health choices and lead active lifestyles.NYS certification in Physical Education is required.
