Frankfort-Schuyler CSD is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and dependable Teaching Assistant to support classroom instruction and assist teachers in providing a positive and effective learning environment for students. The Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring that students receive the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support they need to succeed.Key Responsibilities:Assist teachers with classroom instruction, including small group and one-on-one support.Help students with their academic tasks, assignments, and classroom activities.Support students in the development of social, emotional, and behavioral skills.Provide supervision and assistance during lunch, recess, and other school activities.Assist in the preparation and organization of teaching materials and classroom resources.Maintain student records and help track academic progress.Work closely with students with special needs or accommodations as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), if applicable.Assist in the implementation of classroom management strategies and promote a positive learning environment.The district will conduct rolling interviews until the positions are filled.
