This position is in the Middle School-High School, grades 6-12.New York State Teaching Assistant certification is required.This position is team oriented, and interested candidates are expected to be flexible, organized and hardworking. Specific responsibilities include the following:Supporting administration of assessments at key times during the year.Engaging in progress monitoring of students for specific goals.Implementation of lessons in small groups under the direction of a lead teacher.Assist with preparation of materials.Basic computer competency is necessary and knowledge of instructional methods is preferred.
