POSITION: Testing Coordinator (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2025The Testing Coordinator position is needed to organize and oversee the August New York State Regents Exam Proctoring and Scoring. ASSIGNMENT: May 2025 - August 21, 2025SITE/BUILDING: Bay Shore High School Bay Shore Middle School 155 Third Avenue - or - 393 Brook Avenue Bay Shore, NY 11706 Bay Shore, NY 11706QUALIFICATIONS: · NYS SAS/SDA/SBL or Administrator Certification· Special Education Certification preferred· Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environmentRESPONSIBILITIES:· Identify students enrolled in the ESBOCES Regional Summer School program who have an IEP or 504 Plan· Inform teaching/administrative staff of identified students· Provide testing accommodations and modifications training to staff as needed· Organize student testing schedules and accommodations for classroom exams and August Regents exams and work with staff members to ensure that all students receive the necessary exams and testing accommodations· Upon completion of the exams, the testing coordinator will organize and train scoring teams to ensure that all exams are properly scored· Communicate with staff, administration, and parents/guardiansSPECIAL CONDITIONS:· Responsibilities related to planning will begin as soon as successful candidates are identified, anticipated May 2025 >>> Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates: <<<Registration Days: July 1, 2025 and July 2, 2025(Registration hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)Program runs from: July 7, 2025 – August 21, 2025 (Monday – Thursday)(Program hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES START DATE: May 2025SALARY: $8,620.00Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
