Summer Enrichment Lead Teacher Bayport-Blue Point (PT)POSITION: Summer Enrichment Lead Teacher Bayport-Blue Point (PT) ASSIGNMENT: Off Season: May 1, 2023 – June 30, 2023 Summer: July 5, 2023 – August 11, 2023 SITE/BUILDING: To be determined QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate NYS Certification required or Appropriate NYS License requiredAbility to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school communityMust be available for both the Off Season and Summer assignmentsDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises a Summer Enrichment Program with academic classes and recreational activities for students entering grades 1-8Observes daily operations of program staff and students to assure a safe learning environmentEffectively communicates with staff, parents, and students of the programReports to the ESBOCES Summer Enrichment Administrators and keeps them apprised of daily activitiesOversees, distributes, and monitors supplies and equipment used in the programRequires travel and lifting 20-30lb. curriculum materials/supplies Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates: July 5, 2023 – August 11, 2023 Orientation, July 5, 2023 Program runs from July 6, 2023 – August 11, 2023 THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES START DATE: As detailed above SALARY RANGE: Off Season: $30.00/hour Summer: $30.25/hour
