The district is seeking a motivated individual who meets the following qualifications: New York State Teacher Certification (Preferred): Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2), Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), Students with Disabilities (All Grades), Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages. **Candidates who are currently working toward NY State certification will also be considered.Experience: We welcome applications from individuals at all levels of experience. The East Rockaway School District offers a salary of $130 (for per diem) and $140 (for permanent), per diem, which is established in the East Rockaway Board of Education Non-Contractual Salary Schedule for the 2025-26 school year.
