Position Title: Earth Science Teacher Location: East Ramapo Central School District Position Description:The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a qualified and student-centered Earth Science Teacher to join our instructional team. The successful candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with the New York State Science Learning Standards, foster a positive learning environment, and prepare students for success in Earth Science coursework and the Regents Examination. Qualifications: Valid New York State Certification in Earth Science (7–12) or appropriate certification. Knowledge of the NYS Science Learning Standards and Regents curriculum. Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to effectively meet the needs of a diverse student population. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Earth Science instruction. Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Participate in professional development and school-based initiatives.
