Anticipated Start Date: September Position: Full-Time Music Teacher Grade Level: 3- 6 Subject Area: Music Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Music Teacher to provide engaging instruction in music, promoting creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a curriculum that meets N ew York State Standards in Art Education, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an engaging music curriculum aligned with state standards. Foster an inclusive classroom environment where students from diverse backgrounds can express themselves through music. Encourage creative thinking, problem-solving, and personal expression through hands-on projects and collaborative work. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual artistic growth. Maintain classroom materials and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace. Participate in school events, concerts, and extracurricular activities related to the arts. Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support the overall educational mission of the school.
