Director of Attendance and Funded Program Monitoring (Anticipated) Position Summary The Director of Attendance and Title Funded Program Monitoring serves as a central office administrator responsible for the oversight and continuous improvement of the district’s student attendance systems and the monitoring of Title-funded programs in non-public schools. This position ensures consistent implementation of attendance protocols across all school buildings and oversees the quality, compliance, and effectiveness of non-public Title-funded programs focused on improving student achievement in reading, writing, and mathematics. The Director collaborates with non-public partners and district leadership to identify instructional needs and develop professional development initiatives to strengthen program outcomes and instructional practice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. District Attendance Oversight · Oversee the district-wide student attendance monitoring system implemented in each school building. · Ensure fidelity and consistency in attendance procedures, documentation, and reporting practices. · Supervise and support building-level attendance teams to ensure effective implementation of attendance intervention processes. · Analyze attendance data to identify trends, risk indicators, and areas requiring targeted intervention. · Develop and recommend strategies to reduce chronic absenteeism and strengthen early intervention efforts. · Provide guidance and training to administrators and attendance teams on best practices and compliance requirements. 2. Monitoring of Non-Public Title-Funded Programs · Oversee and monitor Title-funded programs provided to eligible students in non-public schools. · Ensure programs in reading, writing, and mathematics are implemented with fidelity and in alignment with federal, state, and district requirements. · Conduct site visits, program reviews, and data analysis to assess program effectiveness and student growth. · Collaborate with non-public school representatives and service providers to ensure equitable, high-quality service delivery. · Maintain documentation and reporting required for Title compliance and audit purposes. · Recommend program modifications or improvements based on performance data and identified needs. 3. Program Improvement and Professional Development · Collaborate with CEC partners and district stakeholders to identify instructional areas requiring improvement. · Analyze student performance data from Title-funded programs to determine professional learning priorities. · Develop, coordinate, and evaluate professional development initiatives designed to improve instructional quality in literacy and mathematics. · Promote evidence-based practices and continuous improvement within Title-funded non-public programs. · Monitor the impact of professional development efforts on program implementation and student outcomes. 4. Leadership and Compliance · Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing attendance and Title-funded services. · Prepare reports and presentations for district leadership and other stakeholders. · Develop and update procedures, guidance documents, and monitoring tools related to attendance and Title programs. · Serve as a liaison between the district, non-public schools, and external partners regarding Title services and attendance systems. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
