We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and provide instructional and behavioral support in classrooms across the district.Position Overview:Teaching Assistants play a vital role in supporting teachers and students by reinforcing instruction, assisting with classroom management, and helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.Responsibilities:Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.Support individual students and small groups.Provide behavioral support and help maintain a positive classroom environment.Assist students with special needs as directed by the teacher or related service provider.Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times.Prepare materials and organize classroom resources.Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and engagement.Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or school administration.Qualifications:Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred: Associate’s Degree or higher in education or a related field.Certification Requirement: Must hold or be eligible for a New York State Teaching Assistant Certification (Level I, II, or III).Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Salary & Benefits:Salary based on experience and district contract.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement benefits.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and proof of certification through OLASApplication Deadline: Rolling until positions are filled.
