This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while supporting equitable access to high-quality services for students with disabilities enrolled in non-public schools.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative oversight of all special education programs for non-public schools in accordance with IDEA and New York State Education Department regulationsSupervise evaluations, IEP development, and implementation of services for eligible studentsCollaborate with non-public school leaders, parents, and service providers to ensure students receive appropriate supportMonitor timelines, documentation, and service delivery to ensure compliance and qualityPrepare reports and data for NYSED submissions and district leadership as neededSupport coordination with related service providers and CSE teamsQualifications:New York State certification as a School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA)Extensive experience in special education administration, particularly in non-public school settingsKnowledge of federal and NYSED regulations governing students with disabilitiesStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsAdditional Information:This is an interim position, effective immediately.Retirees are encouraged to apply.Competitive daily rate commensurate with experience.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter as soon as possible through the OLASjobs.orgApplications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
