Job Title: Coordinator of Student Enrichment Programs for Curriculum and InstructionLocation: Pomona Middle School and Elementary SchoolsEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition Summary: Coordinate the daily support operations of the East Ramapo Central School District’s After School Programs and the Extended Learning Time (ELT) program at Pomona Middle School. The Coordinator of Student Enrichment Programs will help design and coordinate enrichment opportunities at Pomona Middle School, ensure contractual compliance with funders and subcontractors, assist the district in developing and coordinating after school programs and other enrichment programs as they arise, and serve as the district liaison with the LEAPS program sponsored by the Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose (MLK) Center. The Coordinator will be responsible for completing all program-related reports.Schedule: Full time position with a flexible schedule, possibly including one Saturday a month and overseeing after school programs. Responsibilities:Serve as liaison between the district and Pomona Middle School administrators and outside agencies and service providers for Pomona’s Extended Learning Time program.Serve as liaison between the district and administrators from the LEAPS program (run by the MLK Center) to facilitate the after school programs at Lime Kiln, Eldorado, and Elmwood Elementary schools.Serve as liaison between community groups and ERCSD schools to facilitate social-emotional and other enrichment initiatives (e.g., mentoring programs, local history research programs).Provide assistance to the MLK Center as requested and needed for optimal program facilitation.Managing the Pomona Lunch and Learn, Afterschool Program, Saturday Academy, and other enrichment initiatives, including developing operational budgets.Facilitate the purchase and distribution of resources and materials to support the ELT program and other enrichment programs.Maintain communication with parents/guardians regarding program updates and progress.Demonstrate awareness of Pomona Middle School needs and assist in planning activities to meet those needs.Collaborate with building administrators and partner agencies to encourage community and parent involvement.Assist in developing budgets and monitoring costs and expenses of enrichment programs to ensure efficiencies and cost effectiveness.Oversee the monitoring of inventory of program materials at Pomona Middle School to ensure supplies are adequate.In collaboration with school and district administrators and with partner contractors, assist in coordinating busing for all students and ensure proper attendance is taken each day.Ensure each ELT program is adequately staffed and filled in as needed.Collaborate with the program evaluator and building administrators in accessing and sharing student data to gauge program effectiveness, following district protocols for student data sharing.Other duties as assigned.
