Immediate opening for Coordinator of Health Services (Schools) for the East Ramapo Central School District. Position is professional, administrative work of a responsible nature involving coordinating and supervising the delivery of nursing services in a large school district including orientation and training of all school nurses. Work is performed under the general supervision of Assistant Superintendent of Special Student Services. Requires thorough knowledge of nursing principles and techniques and their relation to medical practices and skill in application; good knowledge of supervisory and training principles and techniques; good knowledge of NYS Education Department and Health Department regulations and mandates concerning health services ins school districts; ability to write clear and accurate reports; understand and carry out health-related school district policy in compliance with state and federal law; etc.Minimum qualifications:Graduation from high school (or equivalency) AND 2 years of education beyond high school AND 2 years of professional nursing experience in hospital setting, skilled nursing facility or as Public Health Nurse AND 5 years of experience as Registered Nurse (Schools) or similar school nursing title OR Master’s degree in Nursing and 5 years of experience in pediatric setting.Salary and benefits are competitive with the public sector market including but not limited to the following:• Salary range is $105,000 - $120,000/year• 40 Hour work week• Medical and Dental• Time off including vacation, personal and holiday time• New York State Pension eligibilityPlease forward resumes to: jobs@ercsd.org
