Collaborative team players that have the desire to become part of a dynamic team are encouraged to apply.RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning, preparing, and delivering classroom and course materials based on NYS World Language andACTFL standards Using a variety of presentation methods and technology resources Collaborating with colleagues on curricula and lesson plans Developing lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual learners Providing conversational opportunities where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught Teaching writing and composition Scheduling and preparing students for oral and written examinations Monitoring students’ progress by writing reports and grading assessments Organizing feedback sessions with students and their parents if applicable Providing suggestions for further learning and scheduling intervention sessions with struggling students Teaching students about culture, which may include festivals, traditional food and dress, and socialconventions Organizing events where students can showcase their language skillsApply on OLAS
