NYS Certified Technology Education Teacher (Secondary Level)Our district is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic NYS Certified Technology Education Teacher for the Secondary Level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology education and a desire to inspire students to become creators, problem solvers, and innovators.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with New York State Technology Education Standards.- Teach students fundamental concepts of technology, such as computer programming, robotics, electronics, and design.- Guide students through the engineering design process, promoting creativity and critical thinking.- Utilize Project Lead the Way curriculum materials and resources (if experienced and certified) to enhance instruction.- Assess student learning and progress using a variety of assessment tools.- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.Requirements:- NYS certification in Technology Education for Secondary Level.- Bachelor's degree in Education, Technology, or a related field.- Strong knowledge and experience in technology education and relevant subject matter.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members.- Project Lead the Way experience and certification are preferred but not required.
