The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking to hire a School Resource Officer (S.R.O). The School Resource Officer (S.R.O.) is an educator, law enforcer and counselor. Responsible for safety of staff and students; training of staff and students in emergency procedures; oversee security personnel for large suburban school District. Must possess Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Police Science and five years of paid experience involving enforcement of safety and security rules, regulations and/or laws, two (2) of which must include supervisory responsibility.
