The East Quogue School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time (.5) Speech Teacher to join our team and support students in developing essential communication skills. The successful candidate will work with students to assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy services in a supportive and collaborative school environment. This position plays a vital role in helping students reach their full academic and social potential. Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy to students with identified needs Conduct evaluations and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings as needed
