Description: The East Quogue School District is searching for a first-grade teacher for our great district on the south fork of Eastern Long Island.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans for 1st-grade students.Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.Utilize assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning.Maintain open communication with families to support student success.Promote a positive and respectful classroom culture aligned with school values.Qualifications:New York State Certification: Birth-2nd Grade & 1-6 GradeMaster’s preferred.Prior experience teaching early elementary grades is preferred.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
