The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess NYS certification in Music for an anticipated position for the 2023/2024 school year. Responsibilities include:Familiarity with and engagement in:Multiple technical approaches and styles.Digital audio recording and editing, both audio and video.Live performance.Sound installations.Proficiency in:Technical aspects of sound design and music production.Mixing, mastering, and asset management.Music productionMastery in audio recording techniques.The basics of writing, producing, and audio engineering music recordings.Music TheoryUnderstanding of composition, form, style, analysis, and ear training skills.Proficient piano skills.Working knowledge and the ability to use the latest industry standard synthesizers, digital audio workstations and software programs such as Logic Pro X and ProTools is required. Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.*Position is contingent upon passage of the school budget.
