The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess New York State certification in Music Education for an anticipated general music position serving K-5 students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, classroom music with a focus on singing, movement, rhythmic/melodic instruments, recorder, and ukulele. Candidates are also responsible for directing elementary chorus. Qualities required include departmental, building/district-wide collaborations, excellent communication and piano performance skills. Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.
