Location: Elwood John Glenn High School Effective: September 2026 Description: The Elwood UFSD has an anticipated vacancy for a LOTE (Spanish) teacher at the secondary level. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of NYS World Language standards, proficiency in creating lessons considering interpretive, interpersonal and presentational skills, familiarity with Checkpoint A and B exams, and ability to work cohesively with department members to support and build the World Language program. Experience with AP Spanish preferred. The successful candidate will: Maintain transparent and proactive communication with families regarding student progress. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where all perspectives are valued. Demonstrate continuous professional growth and a "positive mindset" toward educational innovation.
