Position: Secondary ENL TeacherCertification: ENL/TESOL Location: John Glenn High School, subsequent assignments will be based on ENL instructional needsEffective: September 2024Description: The Elwood School District is seeking a highly qualified ENL Teacher, who is well versed in the CR Part 154 regulations and has a familiarity with NYSESLAT, NYSITELL, and the ENL screening and identification process. The candidate must also have a strong command of the conventions of standard English grammar and the ability to work with co-teachers and different teaching styles. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm toward students, learning and culture and an ability to build and nurture relationships with both students and colleagues. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
