Grady Elementary School Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: June 26, 2026 Salary: Competitive, based on the Elmsford Teachers' Association (ETA) salary schedule Primary Responsibilities Plan and execute daily lessons in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Ensure all instruction is aligned with the New York State Learning Standards for 2nd Grade. Maintain a structured and disciplined classroom environment conducive to academic achievement. Administer assessments, track student performance data, and provide regular progress reports. Conduct parent-teacher conferences and maintain professional communication with school families. Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with grade-level colleagues on curriculum mapping. Required Qualifications Certification: Valid New York State Teaching Certification (Childhood Education, Birth–Grade 2 or Grades 1–6). Demonstrated proficiency in elementary-level subject matter and instructional techniques. Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain high academic expectations. Strong organizational and communication skills.
