The Elmsford Union Free School District is seeking a passionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services to students at both Dixson Elementary (Grades K-1) and Grady Elementary (Grades 2-6). We are looking for a collaborative professional who is committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs. Provide individual and group counseling to students.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.Consult with staff regarding student behavior management and classroom strategies.Maintain accurate and confidential student records.Stay current on best practices in school psychology.Provide support and consultation to parents and families.Effectively communicate with diverse populations.
