Masters in Social Woker REQUIREDMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER POSITIONSServe as a liaison between home, school and community. Activity is directed toward those children whose academic, social or behavior difficulties impair their learning. Working closely with all school personnel to broaden the school's knowledge and understanding of the home environment and involving parents in recognizing the nature of school related problems and plan accordingly for some improvement. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Attending student Support Team Meetings and CSE/SPSE Meetings. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals in assessing student's needs and designing strategies to help individual pupils.
