Eldred Junior-Senior High School has an opening for a probationary English teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.The successful candidate will be able to:•Plan and implement curriculum in conjunction with the English department designed to be personalize, engaging and focused on developing lifelong readers and writers.•Commit to ongoing professional learning and develop and adjust curriculum on an ongoing basis to meet students’ needs and interests.•Stay current on best and burgeoning pedagogical and curricular practices.•Plan collaboratively with colleagues and be open to sharing and learning with and from others. • Have the ability to self-evaluate, be reflective and problem solve.• Perform all other duties as assigned.Have experience teaching in a collaborative setting with a Special education teacher.Certificates & Licenses:Must be NYS certified in English 7-12.
