The Fine and Performing Arts Department at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School seeks a full-time leave replacement for an Art Teacher, mid-November through June. The tentative teaching assignment includes the following courses: 7th grade art, 8th grade art, and 3D Studio Art. While the candidate is expected to support the existing art curriculum, they are also encouraged to bring their own passions, interests, and creativity to course content. Proficiency in G Suite (specifically Google Classroom) is essential. Candidates should be comfortable differentiating instruction and working collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and interests. Interest and availability in facilitating after-school clubs is preferred. NYS preK-12 Visual Arts Certification required.
