Elementary Assistant Principal(s), ProbationaryWaverly & Anne Hutchinson SchoolsEffective July 1, 2024 The Eastchester Schools seek to hire two instructional leaders with demonstrated competence in elementary/early childhood pedagogy, curriculum development, and evaluation and assessment to fulfill the role of Assistant Principal at the Waverly School (Grades K-1) and Anne Hutchinson Schools (Grades 2-5). The successful candidates will have a working knowledge of student support services, including, but not limited to, student attendance, discipline, scheduling, student safety, and extracurricular activities.Requirements: The successful finalists must possess:NYS administrative certification: SBL or SAS as well as teaching certification.Master’s Degree required; earned Doctorate or enrollment in Doctoral Program preferred.Employment Terms:12 month, probationary positions.The salary range is $145,000 to $155,000 based on experience, academic credentials and a record of achievements. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law §§305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
