Assistant to the Superintendent for K-12 Student and Staff Services Effective July 1, 2024District-WideThe Assistant to the Superintendent for Student and Staff Services is responsible for K-12 Counseling and College/Career Readiness of students as well as the Mental Health and Social - Emotional well being of all students and staff. The position will collaborate with district leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving student services, enhancing student engagement, and promoting college and career readiness for all students. Areas of responsibility include:College-Career Success for Graduating Seniors Supervise, Evaluate District Wide Counselors Partner with Colleges on National, State, Local Levels and BOCES/Career Services Providers Publish College and Career Information to Parents and Community Oversee District Advisory Guidance Council K-12 Mental, Social and Emotional HealthRequirements:Interested candidates must possess New York State School District Leader (SDL) and/or New York State School Administrator (SDA) certification, and have 3-5 years tenured experience as a School Administrator.The ideal candidate would have experience strategically leveraging high school seniors into customized college and profession work related careers. Doctorate preferred.NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:12 month, probationary position, beginning July 1, 2024The salary range is $185,000 to $205,000 based on experience, academic credentials and a record of achievements.
