Music Teacher (General Music/Chorus), Probationary2024-2025Greenvale SchoolGreenvale School is seeking a talented, qualified and self-driven Music Teacher for a General Music and Chorus position to conduct 2nd through 5th general music classes and a combined 4th and 5th Grade chorus program with varied, thoughtful, and engaging curricula and repertoire. Candidates should have a strong background in general music and choral teaching. In addition, candidates should be highly skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students and open to collaboration with the music department to coordinate events, assemblies, and concerts.Requirements:NYS Certification: MusicNYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:10 month, full time probationary positionSalary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $61,939 - $146,440, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
