Assistant Superintendent of BusinessThe Eastchester School District is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced leader to fill the vacancy of Assistant Superintendent of Business. Under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, the Assistant Superintendent of Business is a member of the District Leadership Team and works collaboratively with building leadership.Candidates must have integrity, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and an exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the business operations of a school district. Qualifications include a strong command of: budget planning and implementation, purchasing policy and procedures, the audit process, payroll and benefits administration, transportation, facilities maintenance, technology, and food service management. Experience also required in Human Resource Management including labor relations and knowledge of Civil Service Law and federal and state labor laws. Copy of New York State SDBL or SBA Certification must be submitted with application. Salary will be based upon qualifications and experience.Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
