School Psychologist - Leave ReplacementStarting on or about May 2024Anne Hutchinson and Waverly SchoolsAnne Hutchinson (3 days) and Waverly (2 days) Schools are seeking a certified school psychologist leave replacement, to be shared between the school buildings. The successful candidate will have good communication skills (verbal and written), experience in providing crisis intervention, individual/group counseling; CSE/parent meetings; writing/implementing/revising 504s, IEPs, FBAs, BIPs. Familiar with/experienced in psychological testing/assessments as part of the CSE process and progress monitoring as part of the MTSS process. Previous experience preferred. Familiar with/trained in DBT a plus and BCBA certification preferred.Requirements:NYS certification: School PsychologistNYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:Salary range: $61,265 - $144,847 (prorated per diem at 1/200) Step placement contingent upon prior related experience. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES). The Commissioner of Education carries out these responsibilities through the New York State Education Department's Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability (OSPRA).
