The Eastchester Schools are currently recruiting for Substitute School Monitors for grades K through 12. Must be able to work effectively with both general education and special needs students and remain patient and caring. Physical condition commensurate with demands of the position. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff. Must be able to take oral and written directives. Must have NYSED Fingerprint Clearance. Rate of pay: $16.00/hr.Prerequisite:Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law §§305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
