LOCATION: CTI DUTIES: The Work-based learning coordinator works with teachers, students, and local businesses to find supportive and meaningful internships/apprenticeships that align with students course of study. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing relationships with local businesses, creating class visitations, and securing guest speakers from local industries. They will play an important role with establishing and maintaining articulation agreements with various higher education institutions. Support and track students with their transition planning from high school to the workforce, college, or government service. Developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating work based learning experiences and programs for students who are working towards Career Develeopment and Occupational Studies. Other responsibilities as assigned by administration. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid NYS Certifications – CTE Certification and WBL Certification. Coordinator of Work Based Learning Program For Career Development Extensions. GRADE LEVEL: Secondary STARTING DATE: July 1, 2022
