The Dover Union Free School District is seeking a school behaviorist to meet the needs of a specialized class at the primary level. NYS certification is required; the ability to speak Spanish is preferred. Some responsibilities for this position include:Conducting individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with each student’s IEP mandatesCommunicating regularly with parents and team membersCollaborating across disciplines to facilitate successful implementation of behavior modification and coping strategiesAttending meetings with parents, classroom teachers, and school districts as needed.Conducting and participating in professional learning for school Staff and parents, guardians, and caregivers.Completing progress notes and preparing annual reports and proposed IEP goals for each student’s Annual Review Meeting.Application Deadline: May 15, 2023Start Date: September 1, 2023
