This position provides critical operational coverage between the day and night cleaning shifts, ensuring continuity of service, quality control, and efficient resource allocation. This role involves active, hands-on cleaning, routine cleaning, direct supervision of staff, and crucial building security procedures during the closing of the school day. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of custodial/cleaning experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a school or institutional setting. Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of standard cleaning methods, safety standards, and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for supervising staff and interacting with school personnel. Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Basic computer skills for email, word processing, and digital work order and payroll systems. Familiarity with standard school security and building lock-up procedures is highly desirable. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and bend, kneel, and climb to perform duties
