The Dobbs Ferry School Districts seeks Teaching Assistants to work in our summer 2026 Extended School Year (ESY) program, effective July 6, 2026 - August 14, 2026. Program hours are 8:30am 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Description : Under the supervision of a classroom teacher or related services provider, the teaching assistant ensures student safety and provides individualized instruction, implements IEP goals and behavior plans, and assists with daily routines for students with disabilities in order to maintain skills over the summer. Requirements : Teaching Assistant Initial or Level I certification, or higher, required. Physical demands : While performing duties of this job, the teaching assistant is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, squat, kneel, crouch or crawl; to reach above the head and forward; to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; to talk and hear; occassionally lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. Compensation : Teaching Assistant, Step 1 - Step 4, commensurate with experience (approximately $22.00 - $28.00 per hour). Additional compensation in the amount of $4.00 per hour for toileting duties. Apply via OLAS by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2026.
