The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks two (2) Special Education Teaching Assistants, effective October 23, 2024. These are full time, tenure-track positions. Minimum Requirement: NYSED Level I Teaching Assistant certification. Salary commensurate with experience and on par with the CSEA Clerical, Teacher Aide/Teaching Assistant contract. Salary range: $27,174-$37,602.Description: As per NYSED teaching assistants provide instructional services to students under general supervision of a certified teacher. These position require working with individual or multiple students with special needs, and may include performing toileting/hygiene tasks in support of students with IEP or 504 plan. Duties may vary depending upon students specific needs.
