The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks a Fifth Grade General Education Teacher effective August 28, 2024. This is a full time, probationary/tenure track position at Springhurst Elementary School. We are looking for a dedicated and resilient teacher who is passionate about shaping how students learn and is willing to go the extra mile for their students. Grade Level is subject to change. Requirements: New York State Certification Childhood Education Grades 1-6. Qualifications: The successful candidate has experience in Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education, Structured Literacy, and problem-based mathematics curriculum (e.g., Illustrative Math). Candidates who strongly believe that elementary school teachers play an important role in shaping how students learn and can have a lasting impact on our students lives are encouraged to apply. Compensation: Commensurate with experience and on par with the Dobbs Ferry United Teachers Contract.
