The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks a talented educator for a Mathematics position at Dobbs Ferry Middle School. This is a full-time, tenure track position effective August 28, 2024. Requirements: NYSED Certification Mathematics Grades 5-9 or Mathematics Grades 7-12 and Grades 5-6 Extension The successful candidate will work with Illustrative Math (IM), a problem-based core curriculum built on the principle that all students are capable learners of grade-level mathematics. By encouraging students to use their current understanding of math, lived experiences, and the world around them as a resource for problem-solving, the ideal educator invites all students to contribute to mathematical learning and centering student thinking.
