DCS is seeking candidates for a Long Term Sub for Elementary Teaching Assistant (2 Positions) through the end of the 2024 School Year. The successful candidates will support students with disabilities in accessing general education curriculum. Teaching Assistants are valuable members of a student’s educational team as they are responsible for assisting students in the general education classroom as well as assisting teaching staff with making appropriate modifications to ensure student success. The successful candidate will be flexible, a strong collaborator, and be comfortable with tracking behavior data and providing behavioral support.Certification requirements: Hold or be actively working towards NYS Level I, II or III Teaching Assistant certification.
